Jess Thom is an artist, comedian, writer and disability activist. 

As part of her touring Theatre shows, Jess commissioned Re_Semblance Studio to re-design her custom costume used in some of her shows and workshops .

Working closely with Jess we designed an adaptive costume that combined physical mobility requirements with visually impactful design.

Sourced from discarded sportswear fabrics which could give high performance, breathability and stretch comfort; the outfit was designed with a seated trouser pattern, a custom shaped jacket cut with consideration for optional fit with a wheelchair, and easy accessibility to get on and off whilst seated.
