As part of Science week 2024 alongside STEM learning, Re_Semblance studio was invited by local london schools to run day-long workshops bringing circular design education to year 4 and year 6 in interactive, practical learning sessions.

In these workshops, Re_Semblance focuses on investigating material properties of plastics and how they are produced, the plastic problem we have today, and finding solutions to this waste by reimagining design.

Circular design naturally spans all areas of STEM and as part of these workshops children learn practical sewing skills and creative engagement alongside critical thinking and investigation.

These workshops are currently aimed at Primary school ages, but can be tailored to any age group from age 8+.

Workshops will be running again for Science Week 2025.
